Sam Uisprapassorn • Head Coach

Sam Uisprapassorn returns to his alma mater, Chapman University, as Head Coach of the Men’s Ice Hockey Team. During the 2010-11 season, Coach Sam assisted the student’s efforts to successfully establish ice hockey as both a recognized club sport on campus and a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). While a student at Chapman, Sam helped establish an exhibition ice hockey team, served as president of the Advertising Club, and was a founding member of the University’s National Student Advertising Competition team. 

Coach Sam is a USA Hockey Level IV coach and has coached youth hockey at a variety of levels. Growing up in Southern California, Sam played for local youth travel hockey programs and went on to play at an elite and international level. Today, Coach Sam serves as the Business Unit Manager for Scheuten Solar USA and resides in Costa Mesa, CA with his wife Cara and Cairn Terrier Tugger.
